What is Managed and Unmanaged VPS?




An unmanaged VPS is one where the provider takes care of downtime due to network/hardware issues. That's it. Any problem is your own problem.
A semi-managed VPS is typically one of best-effort, meaning there's some management but not everything is managed.
A fully-managed VPS is one where the provider handles anything you need.
